Out There - An exhibition by Graphic Art Students from UEL

25-29 April 2007
The Rag Factory
16-18 Heneage Street
E1 5LJ

Out There was the first external exhibition organised by the second year Graphic Arts students from the University of East London.

It represented a rare opportunity to engage with students at the cutting edge of creative practice.

As a group, the students aimed to push the boundaries of print making, mixed media and drawing. Traditional media were extended to new horizons through use of alternative processes. The flexibility of the group gave the work a subversive, reactionary edge.

By choosing to position themselves at the centre of the creative fabric of London, the group demonstrated a professional confidence which was also evident in the creativity of the work.

Showing at ‘Out There’ were Candie Abrahams, Katy Binks, Julia Clark, Philippa Edwards, Elayne Key-Crampton, Kate Levi, Luca Pinna, Rainna Reynolds and Daniel Vincent.
